Clara, graduate of the European Affairs major in promotion Amartya Sen (2010), is the creator of the podcast and the book:
"The Rules of the Game".
Her journey
Clara began her career in July 2013 in Brazil as a commodities trader for the company BTG Pactual. She quickly faced the weight of gender on her professional career, and the existence of both external and internalized brakes that hinder her progress.
In 2016, from her experience as a woman in a 100% male sector and from a lack of content and tools to limit the impact of the "gender" factor, she became a speaker and launched workshops in the banking sector. , in São Paulo, in order to prepare young women for their professional integration.
In 2019, she developed a series of 10 5-minute podcasts, "The Rules of the Game", in which she shares the lessons learned from her career to allow everyone to overcome the challenges of everyday life, one day., one meeting., one negotiation. at a time.
A book of the same name has been available in bookstores since early March 2020. She is developing her method and her advice there.
Her book
“Being a woman impacted my career. Whether I like it or not, whether it makes sense or not, my gender influences how I am perceived, how I am considered, how I behaved (!) - so the way I evolve. "
This book is the story of her awareness and the lessons she learned from it to regain control of her career. It is therefore not a recipe for success in 10 steps, nor a manual for personal development, but a sharing of experience to allow other women not to suffer their professional life and to express the best of themselves.
Ask for what you want, value what you do, negotiate, overcome the syndrome of the good student or that of the impostor ... from her experience, the author develops a method - "the micro-empowerment "
Reclaim the rules of the game, to give full measure to the work and succeed, in your own words.
