Her journey

Lucie was born in Hazebrouck in Hauts-de-France. After a year in Chile as part of her year of international mobility, she returned to France and worked first for France 3 Nord-Pas-de-Calais, then i-Télé (CNews), Euronews and France Télévisions (in region and Paris).

Crisis management during the pandemic

"Managing the coronavirus crisis is a special moment for everyone ... and an unprecedented exercise for a journalist not only because of the scale of this epidemic but also about information processing. This is one of the news the most important that I have experienced since I started this job.
We had to daily review the number of staff present in the open space to minimize contact. Previously during a newspaper, I received one or more guests on stage but now, interviews are conducted by Skype for example.

In the processing of information, we had to be even more careful, a lot of questioning and questioning. This virus is unknown, many things are said by the authorities and specialists, the situation is changing very quickly and I have to follow these changes with precision, even more than usual.

Our role as a public service required us to pay particular attention to the concerns of viewers in an unprecedented moment of confinement, the source of many questions. The "#OnVousRepond" section was then created on our site and then adapted for radio and television. Every day on Franceinfo, and on France Televisions, we provide practical answers to people's daily lives and health recommendations.

Franceinfo also maintained and reinforced its "True or Fake" program, more than ever necessary to track down dubious information and be able to fully exercise our role as a journalist, inseparable from the verification of information.
