Double graduate of the Lille School of Journalism (2009) and Sciences Po Lille, major in Politics, Economy and Society, Rosa Parks promotion (2006), Julie is Director of Communication at bluenove.
Her journey
After graduating from ESJ, she worked for 7 years as an audiovisual journalist. First, 4 years for BFM TV and France 24, then 3 years in various production companies.
In 2016, following an awareness of the difficulties of career development in the TV sector and a need for a change in professional trajectory, she participated in the collective switch program in order to reflect on a possible retraining.
She then hesitated between communication agencies, interested in the journalist profile, and her desire to evolve in a start-up environment.
She first became, for a few months, digital communications manager for a Parisian think tank.
Then, in 2017, thanks to her network, she met the three founders of the Toguna start-up for whom she assumed the functions of Communication Manager. His skills acquired in freelance journalism, his ability to pitch and convince also allow him to contribute to the business development of the company. Business development, however, seems quite distant from journalism and the idea we have of it. His background shows that everyone in fact has hidden skills that are not exploited for fear of not matching the desired profile, but which prove useful as and when professional experiences.
Since January 2018, Julie is director of communication at bluenove. She is responsible for all of the company's external communication: communication strategy, social media, content creation (articles, customer video interview, newsletter), events, PR … Bluenove supports and advises its clients on subjects such as employee involvement in the company, on major projects such as the raison d'être or the co-construction of a strategic plan.
Some examples of themes dealt with through major citizen consultations: Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence, Media and Citizens, Our New Life post COVID.
