The Avril group announced on January 14, 2020 the appointment of Hélène Taboury as group communications director. As part of this newly created function, she manages external and internal communications, and reports to Jean-Philippe Puig, manager of SCA Avril. She works in close collaboration with all stakeholders in the vegetable oils and proteins sector, and in particular upstream farming, to accelerate the group's transformation and the deployment of the Avrom 2023 strategic plan, launched a year ago.
Her journey
Born in 1978, a graduate of the Lille Institute of Political Studies and holder of a DEA in political science from Paris-Dauphine University (Paris-IX), Hélène TABOURY began her career in 2000 as a consultant at Euro RSCG Corporate (Havas Paris). Within the Influence division, she successively became a consultant (2002-2008), director of advice (2008-2010), then associate director.
In 2011, she became communications director of the CSA Institute (polling institute attached to the Havas group since October 2015).
In 2012, she was appointed Deputy Director of Communication at Carrefour.
In October 2018, she took over as senior vice-president of Elan Edelman.
The Avril group
Founded in 1983, Avril is an industrial and financial player in the vegetable oil and protein sectors. It is present in France and abroad, in the sectors of human food, nutrition and animal expertise, renewable energies and chemistry. The group relies on a portfolio of brands (Lesieur, Puget, ...) and operates on two activities: an industrial profession organized around the plant and animal sectors and an investor profession, led by its subsidiary, Sofiprotéol .
In 2018, Avril achieved a turnover of 6 billion euros. Present in 22 countries, it brings together nearly 7,500 employees across 85 industrial sites around the world.
